From her time as an athlete and coach within tennis as well as ski racing, Gioia has a multitude of technical sports experiences, which now includes more commercial roles such as sponsorship and investment acquisition within sports tech and innovation. 


 

Gioia joined FIFA in 2019 firstly within the Technology and Innovation Division, responsible for the technical ball development (FIFA Quality Programme for Footballs) and subsequently moving into a commercial role. She was also Head of Investor relations within the automative/tech space.

With a strong non-executive board and experience across multiple sports organizations and clubs, Gioia has a truly unique network to lean on to provide expert advise and consultancy within the commercial sports industry.
